I got my guinea pig Bailey on Thursday and Nutmeg on Friday. It is Saturday night as I post this. They are female both and are only a couple months old. I have hay and pellets and water available for them currently. I gave them fresh veggies earlier. So far Bailey ate one carrot and then they both nibbled on another one. They've eaten a little hay but that's about it as far as I know. Is this normal? They're definitely not eating as much as my last piggie did, so I'm a little worried. My last piggie was sick when he stopped eating, so I need to make sure.. should they be eating more than this currently? Or is it likely that they're eating little because of the nervousness from being in a new home??
