What Is The Average Age Of A Guinea Pigs Life? I've Heard Different Ages....WHATS The Longest Age Has Anyone Heard Of????

Anything around 4-7 is average, but there are pigs who have lived beyond 10 years. A lot of it depends on husbandry (how you care for your pigs in terms of diet, environment etc) but breeding also plays a significant part. Pigs who are heavily inbred for example, are less likely to achieve a long lifespan.

My longest living pigger was 7 when he died.

From what I read, correct me if I'm wrong, according to the Guiness, the longest time a gp lasted was 15 years.

But normally, yeah, its 4-7 years

My oldest is around seven. Ive had some problems, but he doesnt seem to be ready to call it quits just yet:)
