General How long should I keep the pigs away from an area that I used ant spray?

I've had a bit of an ant issue in my room, which is where the guinea pig cage is. I put together a temporary cage in a different room last night and moved them so we could use ant spray. How long should I wait to move the pigs back? And are there any precautions I should take before moving them back? Thanks!
