Impaction possible passed impaction on his own?

heya there guys, i woke up this morning to a pretty big round object in my boys cage, it was dark brown (the color of his regular poops) and was extremely hard, he's getting older (almost 5) and we already check him out weekly for any impactions but i've never seen anything like this before? i was wondering if it was possible for them to be able to pass their impactions on their own, but honestly this thing was so big i don't know how that could have happened, he seems to be doing fine though, and he was doing good last night before we went to bed

edit: also just noticed the build up on his grease gland is completely gone, was it just that maybe?
