Anyone fly with a guinea pig?
Hi all, I'm new here. My son and I bought a guinea pig a few months ago. He's a boar and about three months old ("Hammy"). I had one as a teenager and boy oh boy, I forgot just how much I love them!
Anyway, we'll be moving from Boston to Orlando in March and I'm wondering if anyone here has ever flown with a gp before. I've only found one airline that allows them as carry on-Delta with a $75 dollar charge (ouch!). How do gp's handle airplane travel? Do their ears hurt as much as mine with elevation changes? The trip is only about 3 hours, so I'm hoping that a late breakfast and some watery-type greens should hold him over.
Any advice would be much appeciated. Thanks.
