Guinea pigs do not get wet tail, thats only in hamsters. What other symptoms does he have? Runny nose, scratching, whining when he urinates, coughing or sneezing, limping, any of these?

Was the wet patch by his/her eye? I read a thread that bpatters posted on similar to this and it could he a clogged tear duct. You could gently take a warm wash cloth and carefully wipe around the eye.

Are you sure he didn't just bump his face against his water bottle?

Is there any swelling/redness/break in the skin underneath the spot?

My pigs sometimes get "water beards" after drinking tons of water, maybe that happened to him? If you can you could post a picture.

No swell, just the wet spot. Gave him a bath, the spot is still there...

Is it possible that he's drooling?

I'd treat him for a fungus and see if it improves. But if it gets any worse, or if you notice any redness, swelling, or warmth, or if he looks like he has any trouble chewing, I'd get him to a good exotic vet.

See https://www.guinealynx.info/fungus.html for how to treat it. The antifungal medications are all available over the counter at any pharmacy. Just put a tiny dab on a toothpick and rub it in well.

Thanks all for your advice. It has been a few days and the patch is still there, no rashses, weird behavior etc. Trying out the antifugal mediation, hope it'll work.
