Omg my heart dropped when I don't see the other guinea pig in the cage! I looked everywhere and don't see it.. until.... I see someone being sneaky sneaky!

I have the same problem with my guinea pigs. They stick the upper half of their body into the hay rack. Sometimes they crawl fully into it but they learn that if they do that, they'll have to be picked up.

I have had a similar thing happen before. Adventurous piggies who manage to pull a corner of fleece up from under bulldog clips and go exploring. Our cage is large enough that finding the little lumps can be a real challenge!

Sly did that once, managed to get a corner up and went trucking along underneath the fleece from one side of the cage to the other. Scared the crap out of Pooper!

Out in his pen there's a folded up lengthwise fleece blanket, so it's nice and thick and squishy to lie on. Occasionally he'll pull that up and go under, puttering along the fence under the fleece just to be a funny boy.
