I just got my new guinea pig few days ago. And today i just realised that he has a spot of hair on his body and it is shorter than the other hair. Im worried.

That's a little weird a don't know what it could mean I'm not qualified to be giving you advice

It could mean your guinea pig may have had a parasite, such as ringworm, in the past. That may simply be the aftermath of a bald spot growing it's hair back, and it hasn't been long in growing.

Also, you haven't had him long, and before he came to you, he may have had a cagemate who was a "barber" and ate the hair off. I doubt seriously that it's anything to worry about.

I'm thinking the same as bpatters, an old bite but I like both answers. Just give it time and serf the hair grows back. Could take some time.
