Hello! I was just wondering what the best hand vacuum cleaner to help spot clean would be, I’ve seen a lot of people use it and it looks quite helpful. if you have one, what would be your recommendations, brands, and things you wished you knew before getting one. Let me know!

I originally used a regular handheld vac, but it would get clogged and you had to empty it to unclog it. The one I use now the hay gets caught on where the extensions get smaller, but you can normally just pull apart the pieces slightly and it will continue down. I have had maybe 2 clogs in the main hose and once where too much hay got stuck between the filter and where it enters the main part. Sorry, I'm unsure about the actual terminology. My only other problem is that I have to pull the fleece from the hose head pretty often, but I think that'd be all vacuums.

Otherwise, it works well. I tried to use a dustpan, but it just seemed to fling the poo around. I just scoop the main bits of hay from the cage with my hands and vacuum up everything else.
