Maybe it might be worth compiling information from guinea lynx and cavy spirit websites regarding their care and social norms, print it out with reference links and anonymously address it to the senior person in charge of setting guidelines for the animal care?
They might read through it and check out the material for accuracy. You could maybe add a note explaining that you're sending the document to various places that are less used to dealing with guinea pigs to ensure their care is up to date, or something along those lines so it feels less targeted specifically at them if you want to avoid them knowing it's you.
The Hopper group ( a rabbit education group ) and I had talked about booking a meeting in at the SPCA to talk about care, as some of their care info needs a bit of an update.
The last thing I heard was that they picked up the rescue group, the lady is keeping two girls (one of which is pregnant) and that all apart from the mums and bubs will get de-sexed soon and put up for adoption, so they are good for foster homes.
We did a four hour round trip a couple days ago to pick a small rescue group, which we had been planning to pick up before the big rescue group, we wouldn't have been able to pick up this breeding group had we fostered. (It's a mum, dad, two 3 month old boys and their sister who were all living together).
