I'm a little confused about why you aren't trying to get your old piggies back and have just happily skipped off to find a shiny brand new set of piggies when your home life isn't stable...

Based on this thread I believe they got sold and she is unable to get them back.

@WheekedGoodPigs I think she said they only had a verbal agreement. Without anything on paper there's no proof. So legally she wouldn't be able to do anything.

I would tell her that I'd report her to the police for selling your guinea pig. She has no right to sell your pig. You should report it as theft.

Have you tried asking the lady for the name/contact information of the person she sold your pigs to? If it were me, I'd try my very best to track the new owners down and explain the situation, and giving them some money if they won't give you the pigs back for free.

If you leave laundry at the cleaners, you get a receipt, if you go to the movies and leave to use the restroom, you have a ticket stub to get back in. If you leave your pet with someone, you need a contract or some type of paperwork saying what the conditions are. Even pawn shops will sell the goods after a certain amount of time. She can easily just say you abandoned him.

thank you everyone, but whats done is done.. i have now made my living situations clear with my godfather, and will be moving out as he is being horrible, we have already moved out most things, and are only going to stay until the end of the week, to our new place, thank the heavens! as much as i love him, he is so sexist and passive agressive, I couldn't take it any longer!!!

thanks! we finished today! there is a shed in this new house as well.. though it needs a clean.. and a bit of fixing up.. we may sell it and buy a new one! we got quoted £150!! things are on the up!!! yay!!!

Now that you no longer have to worry about your godfather making you house them outdoors, you can sell this shed and build a nice, big coroplast cage for indoors.
