Hi, i wanted to ask if anyone encountered or know the reason this happen. I want to clean my piggies cage and therefore i put them to a bigger size play pen temporary. But after I'm done cleaning, when I put 1 of the piggy back into his cage, he's smelling everywhere and then aggressively attempt to jump out and bang into the cage bar... Anyone experienced this?

Need advice..

What are you using for bedding? And are you sure he's aggressively trying to jump out, and not popcorning with happiness? Is it possible to get a video of what he's doing and post it to youtube with a link here?

Hi, no, I'm positive it's not popcorning, he literally look up and then he jump toward in front and trying to get a grip of the cage but he fall back.. I'm using fleece as bedding. Didn't manage to take video of that, all happen too fast and shocking for me :(

I then just turn of soothing music, and he calm down and i pet him.. He then go sleep.. But i just don't understand what happen before

Hi
I have two boars, and one of them, Taffi, also has a bad habit of sort of bouncing off the walls. I always just thought it might have been popcorning. I'm not an expert, but I have a hunch. Do you have any females living in the same room? Maybe he's just trying to get to them...if not, I don't know what. But maybe someone else will come on with a better answer. If your worried that he's going to jump out, maybe buy a lid for your cage, if you don't have one now?

Thanks for sharing your experience. :) no i only have 2 boars with me. Another one is just chill like not his business.
Yea, i got worried and extended the height of the cage actually, if he can jump out from 60cm tall... Then I'm gonna lid everything 😅

Actually I'm thinking if there's possibility that he likes the playpen more than his own cage... And he want to get back to the play pen
