Behavior Guinea doesn’t want to eat outside the cage

My younger guinea pig doesn’t want to eat outside of his cage, my younger guinea is living along side my other pig that is quite dominant, he doesn’t act badly towards him in any way but i’ve started to think that maybe he doesn’t want to eat outside the cage incase he goes back and gets harassed by the other, does this make sense or does anyone else have any ideas?
