We recently lost a Hammy, and we were looking for something a little bigger with a longer lifespan, we got two sisters and we would love to spoil them and bond with them, just need advice on what to do the first few days, they finally ate some apple from my hand today but were still skiddish

Always looking for advice on treats and toys, they have a massive tank lots of fresh food and love.

Welcome to the forum!

If you have them in a fish "tank" the first thing you need to do is get them into a different enclosure that has proper ventilation for their health.

You can construct a C&C cage easily and cheaply. It allows the space they need to run and move as well as the proper air flow they need. There are a lot of pictures on the forum and anyone here would be happy to give suggestions and tips on building.
