Yesterday I came home to find fur all over the cage. I had a mini freak out moment and checked out both my piggies' fur and found that Ruffles was mixing a whole patch of fur. Even though I didn't see it, I'm fairly certain the loss of fur was due to a bite and not mites or anything like that. I've been afraid something like this might happen as recently, Brownie (Ruffle's mom and cagemate) has been quite aggressive with her. There has been an increase in squealing but I never separated them since blood was never drawn. Ever since the incident though, Ruffles has been stressed and hides while Borwnie eats all the food. I just separated them as I'm afraid Brownie is bullying Ruffles to the point where she can't eat. Can anyone give me advice on what to do? Also, I will include a picture of Ruffle's bald spot. Thanks.
