General Hay or fresh grass?

you can give them grass, but they still need hay at all times

It would be kinda hard to give them a constant unlimited supply of that grass so it's better to have both

Grass can be given in place of hay, but it needs to be introduced to their diets gradually so that they don't get upset stomachs.

They do eat grass a lot but I was wondering if it can be a substitute for hay
I think I'll just have them both

If the grass is already in their diet, then yes, it's okay to eliminate hay completely.

Unless you've got a LOT of grass, do not eliminate hay completely. Hay has proteins that grass does not have, and it takes a LOT of grass to replace them.

Also, the grass in your yard may not be as clean as you think if other animals pee and poop on it.

The safer thing to do is just to add a small of amount of freshly washed grass to your pigs' diet until you build up to a few handfuls, and leave them on their hay.
