Hi, i am new here. My name is Jamie. I was recently having trouble with the amount of space in my room. I was trying everything to get some more space, but then i had a pretty good idea. I built a cage right on the top bunk of a bunk bed. I used coroplast and some metal shelving. It has really opened up the place, and the pigs love it. So if your ever short on space, this is the way to go.

Well done! I've seen members make cages out of bunk beds before, but both levels have been cages, good idea to have your bed under it! And also since you just joined, welcome! We'd love to see pigtures of your pigs!

it has coroplast and a couple layers of fleece. it is a twin bed (perfect size) and if i remember correctly the bed was around 76 x 40 inches. its easy to do, the only tricky part was mapping out where to score the coroplast. it cost less than 45 dollars and it was worth every penny

What a brilliant idea! It's probably also a good way to get kids to spend the whole night in their own room.

Good idea, good job. Might try this if I have to move to a small place.

Wow that's an awesome idea!!! I will have to remember this!! Mind if I ask how many pigs you have in there? I have four in a 3x5 c&c (comes out to 70x42) so just curious to see what the max is for a cage those sizes :)

I have three guinea pigs in this cage. I think technically i could have more in there, but my pigs are already enough to handle.
