Cage what is the minimum for...?

i just built a 2x4 cage and it has a loft made of 5 cubes like this:**

(each star represents a cube) i have two guinea pigs right now, but if i get three in the future, would this work?
 
Upper levels don't count. A 2x4 cage is the minimum size for 3 pigs.
 
thanks...i would make it bigger but my parents won't let me:(
 
2x4 is okay for 3 pigs if they get along. If they don't get along, will your parents allow you to have another cage for the 3rd pig?
