Chewing Is it safe for Guinea pigs to chew coroplast?

I just noticed that the coroplast ramp in my girls’ cage had been chewed. Is this ok for them?

No, they shouldn’t be ingesting plastics. They will probably taste anything that’s new, but if it continues you may have to figure out a way to keep them from the plastic. I know some people have used clear plexiglass to keep pigs from chewing. I’m sure others have some tips.

That doesn't look too bad. If it continues, you could try slipping a sliding report cover over the area they are trying to chew.

They should be fine. Chloroplast is not made with anything toxic and usually can be passed with no problem.
