C&C Cages stacked on top of each other?

Previously, I had my two boys in a two level 2x4. The bottom level had "doors" that opened out made with grids simply zip-tied to the frame and then fastened together with a snap. There was adequate light in the lower level, in my opinion.

However, it was a big pain to clean the lower level and get the pigs out of there, so I have since changed to a single level 2x5.

You can try something like this and make both 2x5.

or something like this.

I think it will be easier to support the cage when they're both the same size.

You can add wood for support like this one.

I know it's downsizing, but there's only two piggies in each, It's way easier to clean, and grab the little furry guys. I'm in the process of getting more grids.

I have to make another one just like this for my four girls.

I am going to go to Bed, bath and beyond to get pink grids, and to fabricland to get pink fleece cut to size

That looks so nice! Oooh wish I could get pink grids here as well, my girls would like a pink cage I think hehe. (Or perhaps, I would.)

That's a big difference. I love it! I have to keep that in mind.
So you have 2 boys on each level?

Could 2 girls go on one level , and 2 boys go on another level?
Or would that cause chaos between the two sexes?

When i had my old setup, i had my two older boys on top of the table, then my two younger boys underneath, with two of my girls in between the two cages.

Phoenix was going nuts up above the girls, he was trying to rip down the walls to get down below to the girls cage. So as for chaos, it can but it might depend on the pigs. All my boys we're wheeking and squeaking.

It does make a big difference as to clutter, and space.

Like i said before, i am in the process of making another one identical to this, in our other room. Just so there isn't a big commotion

I found purple and pink grids at walmart just now looking online. If I only I knew before I got black for my girls.
