New Cavy Owner in AZ

Hello, I'm Monica and a month ago I adopted two little girls from my local humane society (actually, a month ago Tuesday). They're both around 1.5 years and adorable!

Maggie and Ginny:

Maggie, who is much more camera-friendly than Ginny

They currently live in a 2x5 cage (to which I'm thinking of adding a loft) and love chasing each other during floor time. They still don't like being picked up, but love cuddling and petting.

Anyway, love the site!

Welcome to the forum!! I'm in AZ as well! Ginny and Maggie are VERY cute. Well done on adopting. If you ever would like to adopt another here is the piggypoo rescue site. she is based in Anthem and helps the humane society and other rescues with their guinea pigs. (broken link removed)
