Here's my new, homemade cage 
My Mom, who is quite crafty, helped me make it. 3x3 grid, built on a raised table to keep the cat out, mesh lid just to be double sure! Although he hasn't really showed any interest in it.
Nym has not stopped popcorning and so far, peace reigns. A bit of chasing, but no fighting over food which I was afraid would be a problem. In fact we seem to even have some playing.
