Hey fellow piggy lovers,

I am a proud daddy of two little female piggies, Bella & Lizzy! They came from the same litter and are sisters that are inseparable. My Fiancee Julia and I rescued them from PetSmart where they were both very sick. We took the piggies straight to an exotic vet who treated them for an upper respiratory infection. Clearly they were not receiving nearly the type of medical care they are entitled. Long story short, they are alive and well! We give them plenty of vitamin C orally including a well-balanced diet with veggies and unlimited timothy hay.

We own a large C&C cage with fleece bedding and an upper loft.

Congratulations, your little ladies are so adorable! I'm glad you had the foresight to take them to a vet and have them treated properly, instead of leaving the pet store to do it. They seem as though they are absolutely thriving in your home!

My boar, Sly, used to lie with his back legs stuck out like that when he was just a young un. He hasn't done it in years, though. Nice to see he wasn't the only one!

Here's to many years and long, healthy lives for Bella and Lizzy!

They are adorable. It's so cute how Little Bella stretches out her back legs. I've never had a pig who sits or sleeps that way, all of mine just sit upright for sleeping. It's sweet how bonded they are. The picture of them cuddling together on the fleece is just the cutest thing.

I'm so happy that they survived the URI and have a wonderful forever home.

rabbits do that. And my Corgi did that all the time too. Cute huh?
