C&C how would this work????

I want your honest opinion on this cage if it would work so I was thinking would it work if I done a 3x4 cage with a 2x3 loft (the cage will be for 2 guinea pigs) and for the grids I will get 2 pack from kmart and then for the base I will get cardboard and make it waterproof by putting fablon all over it (I have already tried it and it works really well) the reason why I was going 2 use cardboard is because I cant get corroplas from anywhere without paying like £50

At home depot it is $13 for a piece that should fit or you can get a bigger piece. I'm making a 2x4 with a 2x3 loft and that is what I'm using.

If home depot doesn't have it, sign making stores might also.

Lofts are great but if your loft is going to be 1/2 of your cage, it might be harder to access your little piggies if they hide under the loft! Just something to think about :]

ok ill think about it and see when I get everything and also I cant go to home depot because im only in florida on holliday so I wouldn't be able to get it back home as it wouldn't fit in my suit case

I think if the cardboard and fablon works for you, then yeah go ahead and use it! I understand your pain of not being able to find coroplast. So whatever works for you is fine. I think the cage plan sounds good too.

I would make sure the grids are 9 squares across. Look for a sign making company they will have coroplast.

yeh the grids are 100 percent safe and I have double checked ill have a look and see about the coroplast thanks
