It's generally a good idea to do a forum search and/or check out the galleries BEFORE starting a new thread to ask a question that's probably been asked and answered several times before.

I stuff a Kleenex box with hay. She loves to push it around but it makes a mess. An hour or so ago I zip tied it to the cage. I cut a flap in the back so it is easier to add hay. I put a brick under it so she has to step on it to reach it. All you need is a Kleenex box and some zip ties and Wallah! Hay Rack!

Thrift stores are my favorite place to get piggie supplies. You just have to get creative.

It's also a good idea to post your questions in the appropriate forum section. You tend to throw almost everything you ask in About Guinea Pigs and make more work for us mods than necessary.

There is a sticky at the top of this section that describes what the different forum sections are and tells you where to post different types of questions.

Grids are great but you can also buy little plastic rubbermaid bins and cut a little door in them so the hay stays in there but the pig has full access to it.
