I work at lowes and we now have our pre-started herbs and veggies out. I was thinking of growing a couple in a window box, but I'm not sure how well veggies will grow in a limited space. I can have a 6inch by 2foot window planter box, or theoretically I can leave the window open and have a 1'x2' planter box.
But my question is what should I plant? I want something easy that doesn't need a ton of room, to get as much as possible out of this planter.
We have kohlrabi, sweet basil, cilantro, chocolate mint, peppermint, spear mint, curled parsley, Greek oregano, fern leaf dill, Rosemary, Georgia collards, romaine lettuce, and Bibb lettuce.

The veggies should grow well as long as they are container varieties. I think parsley, cilantro, peppermint, basil, and romaine lettuce are good choices. Good luck!
