I'm super excited! I found some coroplast online at a local home depot, so I'm going to go get some and make a bigger cage and a loft, yay!!! You guys are probably the only ones who will be as excited as me, lol!

lol i absolutely get it! I live in Hoedunk, Iowa and was really excited to find out I could get free coloplast every other month from Casey's Stores.
Way to go!!

How exciting!! I just found out this last week that Home Depot's around my area are carrying coroplast in their stores and got REALLY excited. Before that, I always had to go to sign stores and they were only open during the hours I had work so it was a bit if a challenge. Show us pictures of your cage when you're done!

Yes!!!
AND we got 2 U-Haul blankets today!!!
I'm thinking I'll make 3 2x2 fleece/U-Haul liners, make a kitchen with hardwood pellets, and some smaller liners with a waterproof backing for underhideys and high poop areas. Thoughts?

I have a week and a half left until i can do introductions, do I don't want to go nuts making a bigger cage until then, so I don't have to rewash everything.
I'd like to do a loft, but picking my piggies up is a process, unless I can get them into a box. And I'm sweeping poops daily, so I need easy access.

Suggestions welcome!

Uhaul stuff shrinks, so wash it in hot water a couple of times before you cut it to fit.

Why would you have to pick up your pigs if you had a loft?

Well, i'm assuming they'll hide under the loft, right?

Not necessarily. They may, they may not. But I still don't understand why the loft would make you need to pick them up? Would you be picking them up anyway?

Oh yes, we like to snuggle :) doing so right now!

I have my loft running along the back of the cage and the front folds down which helps make it easier to catch them and clean (the front of the loft folds down as well).

Do you mind showing me a picture
?

I zip tied it along the bottom and used a clip at the top of each side to hold it in place. For the ramp I cut out a 3x3 square in the grid and then covered cut edges with plastic slide binders that I cut to sizero and ziptied in place.Excited to get more coroplast!Excited to get more coroplast!
