I noticed a couple days ago that there is this small bump thing on my guinea pig, Cookie's nose. I've seen this twice before, right after I got her, in August of 2014, then a few months later, right before I joined the forum. Those times the bumps were much bigger than they are right now, and I have no idea what caused it. They disappeared after a couple weeks by themselves. I wanted to figure out what it is, since it keeps coming back. Here's a picture, sorry if it's sideways.

I realize it doesn't really look like a bump in the picture, more like a small patch of missing hair, but it's a bump.

From what I can tell it's not any of those, it's almost like a raised scab.

Is she housed with another pig?

It looks like she was nipped on the nose by another pig.

Yes, she is with another pig, but she had the condition twice before the other pig was even born. It's not a scab though, it's just that when it disappeared the first two times that's what it reminded me of.

It looks to me like she's rubbed her nose on something - probably the cage.

Assuming it doesn't get red and infected I wouldn't be too worried.
