Cage Are these cubes suitable

Just wanted to ask if these cubes are suitable for a cage.

Is the black part plastic, because if it is I've seen people use those. I don't know how well they work as I've never tried them myself. But you could give them a try.

If it's plastic it seems good to me. I've never used it before but seems suitable.

@Pipandpoppy, as long as the top is open (no lid), I don't think ventilation would be an issue but you wouldn't be able to see them unless you look in from the top. Agreed, the air ventilation isn't good so it traps the smell and the air cant circulate.

My coroplast is the same height as my cubes, and it's been that way for 5 years (and they still get their poop over it). I've never had circulation problems because the whole top is open. It's not quite the same thing as an aquarium, which would have circulation problems.

the reason I can't get them is they don't sell them in any shops in Ireland and the post age so the plastic ones is about double but if they are not the best for pigs I won't buy them

That's why I included the link to Amazon.UK. It doesn't have to be in stores near you. Just order them online
