Cage Amused & Annoyed: Cage Expansion

I've expanded my girls cage a few times already. Originally it was a 2x3 with a 1x1 loft. Then a 2x4 with a 2x2 loft.


My oldest piggie, Hale, really liked the loft since Dottie pestered her sometimes. Dottie also never took to the ramp so I figured Hale would enjoy the extra space. I made the cage into a L-Shape, (2x4, 2x3). Hale loved the new 2x3 loft!




Then this happened.....




And NOW they won't leave the loft! After expanding the lower level it means nothing to them!
