Cage 2x3 Cage on top of another 2x3 ?

I have 2 guinea pigs. One on a C&C cage 2x3 and the other one still on the biggest petstore cage because of quarantine. Would a 2x3 cage on top of the other one work for them? Separate cages for my pigs.

Not while one is still being quarantined. You want to avoid any airborne organisms passing between the two. After quarantine is over, a stacked cage will work. Is there some reason they're not going to live together?

@bpatters Because right now I don't have enough space to have a cage big enough to put them together and I wanna avoid having them in a crowded and small place. So i thought the two cages would be a good idea for now. When the quarantine is over of course.
