I am positive my girls have mites and I have ordered the correct medicine on amazon that was mentioned on here and recommended on guinealynx. My problem is that I have to do some serious cleaning. I have had experience with lice on humans. Is it a similar cleaning process to that? What I need help with is:

Should I wash all towels in fleece with regular detergent with hot water or use vinegar or something else?
Can I just put things in the drier to kill the bugs or is washing necessary?
Can I clean coro\grids with just hot water and vinegar or do I need to use something stronger?
Should I be worried about my clothes, carpet, or anywhere else my pigs have come in contact with?
Should I pitch things that cannot be washed?
My ramp has carpet on it that cannot be washed, should I pitch it or take my chances?
Should I vacuum my carpet, disinfect the floor?
Am I going overboard!

I have no idea where it came from I recently made an entirely new cage, and have bought new fleece, I also am using pet store bought hay at the moment. Could that be were they got it?

Sorry for the long post but I really need advise. Thanks! ✨Meghan

I think you're going a little overboard. You need to throw out any disposable bedding, thoroughly wash any fleece and other washables in hot water and bleach (be sure to rinse well), and wipe everything else down with a solution of vinegar and water. You don't have to worry about anything else in your house, you don't have to disinfect the floor.
