Piggy house from above - Guinea Pig Cages

Here's our piggy fortress. Each upstairs side has two igloos per side that they use for sleeping at nighttime. We use the extra grids on top to close off each side if we need to. You'll notice our black shredder to the left of the cage, we shred grocery flyers to use for bedding, it's extremely s

The underside is prime storage area being wasted. If you remove the grids in the front you'd have some good troughs under there without compromising the sturdiness of the cage.

Thank you for the tip. We did think about doing that however, my wife is very carefull not to have things look crowded or unorganized. When we put stuff under there it looked messy. Its a good idea though, just not ideal for us. Thanks again :eek:)

Nice job.

As far as under cage storage, you could get some nice matching containers or baskets. That way it wouls still look neat.

AWSOME! I love the idea of how each piggie has their own igloo. Super cute! And when you use the publix bag shreds as beddiing do they like it? Do they ever try to munch on them? Cuz i wanna know cuz i wann steal your idea ;)
