Well the cage is finally done. I ended having to change it to a 2 x 4 which i think will wor for now whil ther young.I thecause when I got the fleece I got 2 yards insted of 2.5 and it wouldn't cover the whole cage. So basically directly on top of the base is a layer of 20 x 20 carpet pieces that I got at the dollar store. On top of that, is corrugated plastic, followed by a couple layers of uhaul pads and then the layer of fleece binder cliped to the side of corrugated plastic walls and the grids. Speaking of the grids you might noticed that they to have been baby proofed as, I painstakingly wraped each grid all 14 of them in mesh so e little ones can sweeze through the grid holes. So what do you think and I hope they like.

I'd double check genders because people who rehome on craigslist often don't know how to tell the difference between males and females. I was going to adopt a female that turned out to be a male when I went to get her. Good to know while they're still able to be separated without having pups.

I already told them, that I wanted to check gendger and definitely take 2 since thats a given and it all depended on the sex of the 3rd if I was going to take all 3.

Thanks. My hands are still killing me from all the the grid mesh work I did, but I'm glad I did it, just to be on the safe side.

Good. I just meant don't take their word for it. Nothing worse than having all of one gender and suddenly finding out one or two are different and you have to reconfigure everything. Even shelters mis-sex them. Dupage Animal Control had males they listed as females one time. I was surprised they couldn't tell the difference.

Yeah, just heard back and was told that I could stop by at 1130 at there house to get them and try and gender check them before I take all 3.

I'm sitting here, eatting breakfast and thinking, how in a couple of hours, I will have 2 possible 3 three week old guniea pigs jumping and playing hopefully in my room. I haven't been this excitted since my own two daughters were born and when I brought Dora and Olivia home.
