I have 7 girls and 1 neutered boy in here.
Is that cage a 6x6 or 6x7 with the 1x2 area? Wow that is huge, If you used fleece and uhaul pads it would be cheaper and less messy then the the bedding you are using now, and healthier for the guinea pigs.
Awesome cage.

It's 6x8 with the 1x2 area. I've tried fleece and don't like it. Too much cleaning and too messy for the wash machine.
My girls' Midwest cage has been upgraded to a 2x5 c&c! They love it.
This isn't that big but its what i got with my piggy
How did you get your fleece to wrap around the cage like that? My fleece just sits at the bottomJust finished this tonight. My girls are super happy with it and are popcorning all around. They are still unsure of the ramp make it halfway and then back down lol.

Wow! Guinea pig heaven! Looks great!I have 3 piggies. Two of them are around 3 years old and the third one is 4 years old, names are Albus, Grimm, and Rubeus. They used to have C&C cages, but I just recently converted my spare bedroom into a gpig room! lol I put a large tarp over the floor and baseboards, with foam mats on top of that, and then put blankets over the mats and puppy pads in high traffic areas and underneath hideouts.

What a fantastic home you've given them. They are lucky to have you. There came a point late last night when I was sitting *inside* the cage that I though this project might have gotten a bit carried away...
Regardless, here it is... a piggy palace!

2x8 grid base, a 2x2 loft and an L-shaped 2x4x3 loft, as well as two 1x2 feeding lofts. There's also a built in tube run and a balcony. Additionally, I've upped the safety features, adding more support bars and internal grids so that the pigs cannot possibly fall anywhere. There's also an under-croft for storing pig supplies.
Cleaning is only marginally harder, the cage must now be pulled away from the wall to clean the biggest loft fully, and also to slide out the bottom layer.
Never again!
