I thought it would be fun to have a picture cage thread. I know I love looking at pictures of cages. I know we all change things out on a daily basis so please post pictures of your cage today.

These were actually taken a couple of days ago, but it looks the same today... I added more hay about 2 seconds after these were taken

Nothing spectacular but my boys seem to like it.
The first few minutes after a cleaning, when the fleece is fresh and there are no poos or boar funk on anything .... that's when I love it.

Mine's kind of boring compared to these elaborate wonders. But the boys love it nonetheless.

We had to put a pillow on top because 3 of the 4 cats like to get on top of the cage, as you can see.


The left side consists of their hay, food, and a bathroom.


The right side consists of the hideys and a bed that is currently being washed.

When we got our piggies the 3 of them were living in a small pet store cage, so we really wanted to make somewhere nice for them.
Our first attempt. the top was just for storage.



Then Hubby built the girls a house



What can I say, by then we were enjoying ourselves, so they got an upstairs and loft conversion:crazy:

After we discovered one of our pigs was part lemming (when she threw herself from the top floor), we decided to go back to bungalow living, and this one comes complete with rehab suite








Once Maisie comes out of isolation, I think we'll change again, this time we're going to add another 2x3 and make the cage L-shaped .

Oh, I forgot what my Hubby calls the room with a view!! It's the hole that used to lead upstairs which is now against the side of the cage so as to close it off.




And it's a great place to pass in the piggie treats .

Loving everyones cages! Heres the cage today and might post another tomorrow when it gets changed oh and when I took the photo Pixie came along and did the cutest pose - standing up asking if I had any food xD
