Start to finish, 4ft x 4ft, think the boys are enjoying. Plan to add a loft area at sum point.

Hi everyone
I don't have a cage for my little guinea pig just keep it in room. Always checking if the doors are closed. Me and my children treat our animals as a part of our family, so that's why we let them run aournd the room.

I'd love to see pictures of them free ranging.

This is my first ever C&C cage! I'm expanding it this weekend so it will be 6 by 2 rather than 3 by 2!
My piggies love using the oatmeal carton as a tunnel!!

I love this thread! Getting lots of ideas. I'll post pics of mine as soon as I get a chance. We're also doing a remodel later this month that I'm excited about.

Those quilted fleece pads are so cool. Do you sew them yourself??

Do they make it any easier to change out and clean the cage? Do you use any batting in between the layers or just two pieces of fleece? I may have to get my sewing machine out!! lol

They're 2 pc's of fleece, I have a print on one side & a matching solid on the other(as in pic), with 2 layers of batting in the middle.

I've only been using them for about a month now but so much better then using the paper bedding that I had been for a while. When one seems a little dirty I can just clean it off & flip it. I have wood pellets under them which I know is probably over kill but I'd rather be safe.

Just finished building my girls 2x5 cage and made the cage liner today.

Trying to figure out a way to put our skinny pigs 2x3 on top while being able to fully access the girls cage

Gibby and Teddy in their 2x5. We're upgrading this month to a 2x6 with a loft and cavy cafe. I just can't decide on a wide or narrow loft and can't decide on a narrow cafe or a wide bistro. I want them to have as much floor room as possible and I'm afraid the wide bistro will take up too much room but not sure the narrow cafe will be big enough. Ugh...Indecision!
