Lump Lump on foot?

My Guinea Pig Carly has a lump that almost looks like a toenail. It's loose so I really don't think its like a morphed toenail. It could be removed but I'm afraid to pull it. Any adivce?

On her foot pad, the lump is on the left of the foot pad on her left foot. It could be removed but she can walk on it too. But I hate to remove it and its like something really bad and I just did a vet's thing

No. its not spiky, it's almost like a rock or soiled bedding that stuck on her foot.
She walks perfectly on it, but it worries me. what if it gets an infection? She might have to have her foot amputated!
Now I'm really scared. I need all the help I can get.

Why don't you take her to a vet if you are worried. It could be an infection or abscess.

Finally, we are going to call around to see if any vets are around that take Piggies.

I just took Carly to a vet. She only had this corn stuff on her paw that could be clipped off. and she is happy and healthy! Although she might have surprsies!

What exactly is this "corn stuff"? You mean foot spurs?

They aren't exactly foot spurs. its like this little round thing that looks like an extra nail. But it isn't. I can't exactly remember what the vet said but she said that its common in Guinea Pigs. However, we have no clue if Carly was kept in a cage with a wire bottom before she was brought to Petco. The vet didn't seem to mind that I bought her from petco. All I have to do if she gets more, is to cut it off with nail clippers for Guinea Pigs!
