Two weeks ago we got three female Guinea pigs from petsmart. We were told they were from the same litter. We took them home and everything seemed fine. The next morning I noticed one of them had a head tilt. I called petsmart and they told me I could "return" her and they would take her to the vet. So I did just that. They refunded my money but I made it very clear that we wanted her back. A few days later they call and tell me that there was nothing wrong with her but the vet put her on a medication "just in case". I thought that was sketchy but whatever. We have been there twice to visit her. We talked to the small animals manager who owns Guinea pigs himself and had told me she might be "special needs" and then they will just adopt her out to me if they think we would be a good home for her. Well I call and check on her every other day and have visited twice so he said he feels comfortable with us having her. So she is fine with the meds this Sunday then she will go back to the vet on Monday and we will prob get her Monday night or Tuesday.

My concern is re introducing her to her sisters who seem to be bonded already. Is this going to be a difficult situation or will the two at home remember her since they r biological sisters? I don't want her to be bullied.....she's such a sweetheart!

You'll have to do full reintroductions, but they're probably very young pigs, so it shouldn't be difficult. See guinea-pigs.livejournal.com/3002707.html.

I hope your cage is large enough for three. No cage sold in a pet store is large enough for one pig, much less three.

Here's some recommended reading for new pig owners:

We made a C&C cage 2x4 bottom level and 2x2 top level.
