Cage Let's see your cage Pictures please.

@peeweesteph That looks great! I love my 3x5, though I'm contemplating upgrading to a 3x6 before little Patrick joins the other three boars. :)

Here's my cage... I've added a kitchen (which I LOVE) and a new wooden hidey (which the piggies LOVE). I also went ahead and baby proofed for when Patrick joins the herd in a couple of weeks.

But for now this is it.. My hands are killing me today! congrats on your new boy..! Here are my three girls! Sophie is black with brown.. Maggie is white and redish.. And Lola is multi..

Here is Whistles new cage :)
I've added the grid above the ramp/put towels blocking the shavings from falling out the back from the ramp.

I feel like my cage is actually good enough to post here now. I just finished making it today and am very pleased with how its ended up. Only a couple of tiny wonky bits.

Its 1.9 square meters (20.5 square feet) and is home to Basil and Mr Bigglesworth.

I just love your cage Cavy_Pal! Great job!

Love seeing the progression of your cage! You have some very lucky pigs:cheerful:

I apologize for the double post --- felt this would be more appropriate here.

Sorry for the bad pictures... My camera charger disappeared so I had to use my cell phone. This cage is our first attempt. We used closet racks that we found in the Home Depot storage section. It measures 36 inches tall, by 47 inches wide, and 20 inches deep. I went with an enclosed cage because we have a small child, a cat, and a dog. The front side of the cage folds open in two sections for easy cleaning. For the liner, we used trash bags. This is temporary until I build a 4 inch stand and put a pull out tray in, lined with a shower curtain. I also plan on getting some chloroplast for the sides and will be making some forests today. Anyways, here are the pictures. Enjoy!

I really like your cage :) The one thing is guinea pigs shouldnt have wheels or exercise balls because it can hurt there spine. They dont have flexible spines like hamsters. Most petstore sell them for guinea pigs just to make money, but they really arent safe.

@ILoveMillie !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Does Piper have a sister named Paige from WeeCompanions in Imperial Beach??

Took it out a couple of hours ago... Thanks for the heads up. I still need to make a wall by the ramp for safety.

Since she's not replying, I thought I'd say yes because she said so in one of her youtube videos. :)

Yes! They were adopted together about about a month or so ago by a wonderful family though!

@arionat799 Thanks for letting them know! Sorry I took so long! :)

@Cavy_Pal your piggy looks like my Charlie! I love your cage, it's great!

SOOOO I totally love this thread, and got many new ideas. My curret c&c cage messy takes up most of my living room. I saw several ideas as I also want to make a playground and my main thing is the poo. The 4 little ones have at least 1000 poo each day ithink. Its like crazy. I like the different ideas and the uses of more everyday items then all the expensive things. We started with several store bought and I was also trying to think how to implement them into the mix so that they get the use. I have one small one that is the quarentine/vet/travel one but have several others including the origional one given to me when I rescued the first 2 and its on wheels

I use a hand held vacuum to "sweep" up the poos during play time.
Other times i just roll up the towels/fleece and shake them outside xD

Here is Mr. Whistles cage as of right now!

My bunny condo with Skippy in the bottom floor. Snicker has yet to move in until he is neutered. Ta Da! :) The top is a bit unstable, but the cage then was still under construction. :)Let's see your cage Pictures please.
