Skin Problems found a scab on my pigs side

I have 4 boars and I know that from time to time they get grumpy and get cuts on their noses from small quarrels, but tonight, Oliver has a centimeter long scab on his side. Do I need to worry about anything? I cleaned it with peroxide and he seemed a little upset when I touched it.

It's probably also from a bit of fighting, but I wouldn't worry to much. Since it's already a scab it's healing and your not at a huge risk of infection. Just wash it up and if you have any antibiotic ointment you can put that on to. Hope I helped

Might he have Mites? Check him over and make sure, never can be too carefull. If not just watch them over and make sure they arn't having big problems. Look over all of your pigs everyday and make sure they are ok. It might have be just a little scatch nothing more.

Don't use hydrogen peroxide. It kills healthy tissue as well as infection.
