Grids Anyone else have trouble

They do break very easily, look for the weld on the thick bar and make sure it is on a side you are not bending.

I do not have the BBY grids, but mine break easily also. I haved found that if I stand on the grid w/ my toes on the outside wire at the point I want the bend and bend very slowly it does not break. With a few that did break, I put electical tape around the sharp edges and use them as hidey houses and a hay rack. At least they are not completely useless.

There are some tricks to it.

First, find the seam in the outside bar. You DON'T want to try to bend it at the seam.

Second, if you look closely, all the wires are attached on one side of the thick bar. Bend the grid such that the wires are attached on the "outside".

Go slowly, and it's helpful to bend it around something large and thick and flat, like a board or large book.

I had to sit on my grids to bend them it was a pain.
