Gizmos new 2x4 cage

That is a really neat cage! Gizmo is sure a cutie as well! Now that you have the cage all don up, you may want to peruse the nutrition forums here as well . The only sugestion I would have is an improvement on the hay rack. Gizmo should have access to hay 24/7 without much effort.

Thank you. I agree with you about the hayrack. The rack does not fit well on his new cage. Hay is available all the time. He eats alot of it!

I would suggest makeing a bent grid hayrack they are easy to kill and easy to get hay out of. I also think that you should seriously consider getting him a friend, guinea pigs are herd animals and do best and are happiest in pairs. Thats funny that you mentioned those tips. My husband just tried to bend a grid and one of the ends snapped. We do want to get him a friend and I found a piggy on petfinder, his name is teddy. We are taking Gizmo to vet tomorrow just to get him checked out.
