Forages What are forages and how do you find them?

From GuineaLynx, I found out that 'forages' are just weed, grass, or plants growing outside. I'm a little if-y on feeding forages to my pigs that were just growing outside in my dad's yard or a friend's yard. Can you grow forages from apartments (we live in one)? Dandiloins seem good for pigs and I wanna try it.

They can't have too many dandelions.

I would grow wheatgrass instead.

You need to make sure they haven't been treated with pesticides, and that it's been several days since any fertilizer was applied.

I heard clovers were ok to eat too. I am not quite sure.

There are many safe forages that can be fed. Grass is also considered a forage.

Any item you don't know what is or what looks like, I suggest doing a google (or another search engine) search.

You also have to make sure that there are no animals that go to the bathroom on them as well.
