Ramps Two Piggies and a Pear Tree?

So getting ready to get some piggies and making some cage stuff. I was wondering if Cleveland/Bradford Pear limbs would be ok to use as a bendy wood bridge material? If so does it need drying/baking? Any help is appreciated?
