Chewing Soda bottles for tunnels?

Has anyone used a two-liter soda bottle with the top and bottom cut off as a tunnel? Do your little guys chew on it at all? Is it too lightweight to make a good tunnel?

I think the edges might be too sharp.

I have used a soda box that I cut into a tunnel. I usually throw it away she cage cleaning time comes though because my piggy potties in them. I think the plastic edges might be too sharp on bottles though.

Hmmmm, I think maybe I'll make a tunnel out of fleece and use sections of the soda bottle to make it hold its shape.
