Please do not house your pig outside. There are so many things wrong with it. Search it up on the forum. Put her in a C&C cage inside instead.
Hiya I live in England UK. and here some people keep their guinea's indoors most keep them outside.where I live in a village in Surrey and in my garden its very sheltered and no foxes here where im situated. My guinea's are in a very large cage which is 4 foot in height,5 foot length. and 3 foot depth. they love it I have 2 girls 19 weeks old and 2 babies when i got the 2 girls they were 10 weeks old then I noticed that Sally was getting fatter by the day and then realised that she was going to be a mummy. 4 weeks ago she had 2 beautiful pure white ,pink eyed babies.which Im keeping obviously when I bought the 2 girls thats all I wanted ,I was told where I got them from a naughty little boy mustve got to her!! Anyway now there are here and Ive got plenty of room in the cage I am keeping them.I took them to find out what sex they are as I need to make sure as I don't want Sally to have anymore its not fair,(as she was too young to have babies.but she is a good mum and Rosie helps with them as well. Its amazing that when they were born they were totally independant apart from they have milk from mum.As soon as they were born they were walking around the cage and eating all food.Ive had many animals over the years when my children were young, years ago my Yorkie had pups, cats have had kittens rabbits etc but all of those when born can't see, hear and are totally dependant on the mum.but guinea's are not.Ive had guinea's before and had them indoors as I didn't have a garden but Im allergic to they Hay.) Anyway one of the babies is definately a Girl, but they couldn't tell with the other so I have to take baby back in another 2 weeks when theyre 6 weeks old. As they are identicl like twins I dont now know which is the girl so I will have to take both back again.
