C&C Pet store cage connected to a c&c cage

I am wondering if there is a way to connect my c&c cage to a kaytee cage that I've had sitting around. The kaytee cage is about 1x2 grids so it will add some space. I mainly would use it as a kitchen so they have more room to play and they don't get hay all over the fleece. Any ideas on how to do this? Thank you

You can connect a C&C and store bought cage by making a loft out of the Kaytee cage (and still use it as a kitchen).
Although I do think it is easier to make a 2x2 loft and placing the 1x2 cage in the 2x2 loft. That way, the ramp connected to the coroplast is much easier to connect to the coroplast 2x2 loft.

Or simply extend your cage with the Kaytee cage (AKA "add on")

Could you please be a little bit more detailed? I'm not sure I understand

You can just put them side by side and cable/zip tie them together. Put a ramp from one cage to the other.
