Not letting me edit comments in Galleries

I just posted a comment in the Gallery and immediately after I clicked edit (to edit it because I wanted to change the rating I gave it) and it gave the thing to type it in, I changed it, then I clicked submit edit and it said that time to edit this comment has expired, it had only been 30 seconds to a minute, how could time had run out? Or can you not edit the comments anymore?
