BIG FORUM Upgrade in the works

Years overdue, but it's been a challenge to find a reliable path forward.

We'll be moving to an entirely new platform. But of all of the possible options, this one will have the most similar functional feel to it.

We've started work on it. Luckily it also has a media gallery integrated with it, so we'll be able to up our game on images and videos and such as well.

I'm not sure how well embedded images and things will move over on historical posts. Whatever it ends up being, we'll have to live with, but I'm hoping for the best at the moment. First we need to migrate, then we'll probably clean house and move some thing around to better fit the times. It will be a learning curve for me and the admins and moderators for a while as well.

Traffic is nowhere near where we used to be in the past due to facebook and social media, but I'll add in some more moderators to help out as well. Billie has been a life-saver for me taking care of things so well and reliably over the years. Many, many thanks to Billie!

Hopefully, with an updated look and feel and some new and fun functionality we can give the traffic a boost and get more folks involved again. I'll keep you posted on the timing of things when I know more.

So glad to hear this! We really need to get people in here and learn the right way to do things. Too much false information out there but it's always a struggle that way no matter the platform.

And Ive said before if I can do anything to help let me know. I have changed jobs recently and now actually have nights off and a few days a week as well.
